Hosting a student means paying and mentoring them through real work in the trades. Here's the baseline.
Be a Richmond-area employer
Operate in or near Richmond with a real role in construction or the trades.
Offer 120+ paid hours
Provide at least 120 hours of paid, work-based learning per student.
Pay a fair living wage
Commit to a living wage in line with skilled-trades standards once students graduate.
Assign a workplace mentor
Name an experienced team member to guide the student's growth.
